Vlad Stan is a professional with over 14 years of experience in commercial and civil litigation before Romanian courts.
His multidisciplinary expertise has enabled him to handle complex cases in the areas of commercial, administrative, and social security law, but he has also successfully represented individuals in recovering various damages caused by accidents.
In terms of consulting, he has assisted clients in the field of corporate and commercial law, providing services related to the establishment, modification of the organizational structure, and insolvency of commercial companies or other legal entities. His expertise also includes the drafting of various types of commercial contracts, with a high capacity for formulating and interpreting contractual clauses.
His knowledge also extends to European human rights protection, having written his bachelor’s thesis on “The presumption of innocence before the European Court of Human Rights.”

- Corporate and commercial law. He regularly advises both foreign and local investors on a variety of commercial and corporate/organizational issues related to the activities of local entities, such as shareholder agreements, corporate restructuring, reorganization of management/administration structures, and other sensitive corporate issues in a variety of contexts.

In civil law, he has extensive expertise in various types of litigation involving property rights and other real rights (usufruct, easement), land registry entries and corrections, partition, civil contracts (sale, donation, residential lease), civil liability (contractual or as a result of torts), and enforcement.
- Insurance law. In the field of insurance, he represents clients in disputes with insurers for non-payment of damages, for delays in the payment of compensation, providing assistance in negotiations with insurers for the amicable settlement of damages. In the field of social insurance, he has successfully assisted clients in challenging retirement decisions.
- Administrative law. He has been involved in projects concerning the annulment of administrative and administrative-judicial acts, whether individual or normative, the enforcement and termination of civil and administrative contracts.
- Labor law. His experience in the field of labor law includes providing legal assistance and representation in mandates such as: individual/collective staff dismissal projects, disciplinary/professional misconduct proceedings, drafting and negotiating individual and collective employment contracts, individual and collective labor disputes, business transfers, transnational secondment, anti-discrimination/harassment policies and procedures.
